About CHRIST IS KING CHURCH
Christ Is King Church is located on Callaghan Road on the north side of San Antonio, serving the local community with nondenominational Christian worship and teaching. The church is known for its Christ-centered approach to Scripture and its commitment to helping members develop a deeper understanding of their faith through study and worship. The church operates several ongoing programs to serve people of all ages. Sunday School meets regularly to provide Bible education, while the Youth Group engages younger members in faith formation and fellowship. A dedicated Bible Study program offers additional opportunities for spiritual growth, and the church maintains a Choir for those interested in worship through music. Christ Is King Church extends its mission beyond its congregation through Community Outreach initiatives that address the needs of surrounding neighborhoods. Services are held on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 8635 Callaghan Road, Building 2. The facility is wheelchair accessible and equipped with air conditioning, parking, and a nursery for infants and young children. Those unable to attend in person can participate through the church's live stream. Coffee and fellowship time follow services, creating space for members to connect. About Nondenominational Churches
Nondenominational churches operate independently without formal ties to a larger denomination. Most emphasize a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, contemporary worship music, and practical Bible teaching. Services tend to be casual and welcoming — you'll often find a band, screens with lyrics, and a conversational sermon style. These churches vary widely in theology but generally hold to orthodox Protestant beliefs: salvation by faith, the authority of Scripture, and baptism by immersion. Many draw large, diverse congregations and offer robust programs for families, youth, and small groups.
