About Methodist Churches
Methodist churches trace their roots to John Wesley's 18th-century revival movement within the Church of England. They emphasize God's grace available to all people, personal holiness, and social justice — known as "works of piety and mercy." Worship is typically blended, mixing traditional hymns (including Wesley's own compositions) with newer music. United Methodist congregations, the largest Methodist body in the U.S., are connectional — meaning local churches are linked through a shared structure of districts and conferences. Methodists practice infant baptism and open communion, welcoming all who seek Christ to the Lord's Table.

★★★★★This is church. Pastor Sterling is an awesome teacher on the word. I grew up Baptist, never thought I'd be at an AME church. Don't let that scare or keep you away. It's worth stopping by to hear the word.
